Icon Art is a collection of original works of art by Stalybridge artist Gordon Clegg, featuring several highly detailed iconic figures from the world of music, television, sport and politics, to name just a few.
Gordon, who was trained by the talented water colourist Owen Traynor,
is inspired by the works of art of David Oxterby, Burn Jomes and Rossettee and has recently exhibited over 25 years of his work at the Astley Cheetham Gallery in Stalybridge in an exhibition entitled "Hollywood and Rock and Roll".
"The work in the gallery is my interpretation of the many people that have influenced me over the years; I hope you will enjoy looking at them as much as I have in drawing them."
